Today I’m at home recovering from COVID for the second time. What a way to celebrate the new year right? Actually, I’m enjoying not having to go anywhere or do anything, and covid the second time around was not as bad as the first. In fact, I wasn’t even sure that’s what it was until I took one of those at home tests.
My handsome husband Bill, of 36 years went to church this morning while I stayed home. He is a Knight of Columbus and my Knight in shining armor! I am very grateful for him and for the past year. 2022 has been both rewarding and challenging for me and my family. How has it been for you?
Review of 2022
I enjoyed the happy time of my husband coming home in January of 2022 from working on the other side of the country for 9 months. And another one of the happiest times I had last year was spending a weeklong vacation in Vegas for Thanksgiving week with Bill and our oldest son. And just having Bill home and attending family parties and functions with me was a joy this past year.
But there were some very trying times as well. Bill came home just in time to say goodbye to two of his good friends. One of them passed away from complications from COVID shortly, and the other from a very rare form of cancer. Only a couple of months later my dear mother passed away and I’m so glad that Bill was here to support me through her passing. And there were other challenges as well that I won’t go into here, but there were also some great triumphs.
Accomplishments from 2022
Looking back on the last year, we did have some achievements. Bill had landed a new job back at home in PA, making more money and with better benefits than his previous job. That allowed us to stay in our home (for now) that we’ve lived in for the past 17 years. I passed PA life insurance test in my state and then in 5 other states to become a licensed life insurance agent. This allowed me to be able to add writing infinite banking policies for my tax lien investing clients. And the first thing I did was write my own policy! I also went through an intensive leadership training and made some new good friends. What were your accomplishments in 2022? What are you proud of?
Looking Forward to 2023
After taking the time to review the past year. I’m taking some time now to reflect on what I want to accomplish in the year ahead. And one of things that I’ll be doing in January is interviewing experts on how to attract more money into your life, manage your money better, and make your money work harder for you.
