Spirit Led Business Book Review

Spirit Led BusinessI just finished reading the book, Trust Your Heart: Spirit-Led Business by Marnie Pehrson Kuhns and going through the free course that the author created to go with the book. The book and course were created for the Christian businesswoman/entrepreneur. The ideas and strategies in this book, however, are really relevant to everyone, especially to people who are inspired creatives. If you are self-employed, have your own business, or thinking of starting one, this book is a must-read!

The author, Marnie Pehrson Kuhns, has been one of my mentors for over 10 years. She is a successful entrepreneur, who built a multiple 6-figure business and authored multiple fiction and non-fiction best-sellers, all while raising her brood of 6 children. This book is the culmination of her 30 years of experience as a self-made entrepreneur, and best selling author.

My favorite chapter is the one titled “You CAN Stay Focused, Complete Your Big Ideas, And Generate Income.” This chapter explains the 4 phases of the creative cycle and it taught me a lot about myself, and how I can be more productive and better at my business.

In the course that goes along with the book, there are downloadable worksheets to help you keep track of your ideas, projects, and daily tasks. There is also a worksheet that guides you in creating a mission statement to help you get clarity and focus. And there is so much more.

Find out more about the author and the book at MarniePehrson.com. Reading this book is like taking a business course in becoming a spirit-led entrepreneur, and it’s also great for just living a more spirit-led life!
