Where Are The Tax Lien Sales?

Question: I live in a tax deed state, where can I find out about states that have tax lien sales?

Answer: I have a comprehensive State Guide that lists all of the States and gives a summary of what happens in each state. It also lists all of the states that sell tax liens and all of the states that sell tax deeds. You’ll find that some states that sell liens also have tax deed sales. And there are a few states where some counties sell tax liens and some sell tax deeds.

For each state there is a summary that tells you what type of tax sales are held in that state, what the bidding procedure is, and who is responsible for the tax sale. For redeemable deed states and tax lien states you’ll also find out how long the redemption period is and what the default interest rate it. The State Guide comes with my Tax Lien Investing Basics program that also includes webinar trainings on how to find the best place to invest and where to get the tax sale information – including the tax sale list. You can find out more about the Tax Lien Investing Basics home study course and get a free special report “7 Steps To Building Your Profitable Tax Lien Portfolio,” at www.TaxLienInvestingBasics.com.

If I buy a tax lien certificate and then it gets redeemed, how does the county make any money (for taxes owed and penalty) if I get the principal  amount (which includes taxes & penalty – correct me if I’m wrong) plus interest?”
