This is not my usual post, but I want to let you know that besides investing for a tax lien fund I’m now a river cruise travel advisor!

Why did I become a river cruise travel advisor?

My husband and I always wanted to go on a European river cruise. We were waiting until we both could take the time off. But then he got cancer, and we never got the chance to go on our dream trip. We also always wanted to visit Italy, the country that both his and my grandparents immigrated from. And there are a few other places that we always dreamed of visiting but never did.

After he passed away, I decided that I was still going to go on those trips. It would be different than what we had planned because I’ll be going alone and not with him. So it will be bittersweet. But I really want to travel. So, I became a travel advisor. And I’m learning how to find the best travel deals, not only for me but for my family and friends.

I decided to concentrate on cruises and river cruises in particular. My husband and I have been on a couple of ocean cruises, but we’ve never been on a river cruise. And now that I’m older (in my 60’s), I don’t want to go on a cruise that has a lot of attractions for kids and young partiers. I want to relax and learn about the cities I visit. I want to unpack once and get to see different cities. Maybe a different European city each day.
