Here’s another motivational message that rings true from my friend Arnfried at Be Motivated Today. Read my comment to find out what I have learned about this topic:)
Possibility Thinkers achieve their goals. They are successful and usually wealthy.
How can you become a possibility thinker?
Here’s the short list:
1. Make a decision to become a possibility thinker.
2. Make a decision not to think “impossible”. There are millions of people who do that already. Don’t join them.
3. Avoid thinking why it can’t work. If you do, stop yourself and change thoughts.
4. Think why it can work. You will come up with reasons, as soon as you try.
5. Avoid negative people and rather mix with other possibility thinkers.
6. Be interested in inventions and everything new. Get books on great inventors and inventions. Watch the Discovery channel. Attitudes and thinking is caught from others and the environment.
7. Be ruthless with negative, “It won’t work” or “I can’t do it” thoughts. Throw them out of your mind at once.
8. When you hear of other people’s success, tell yourself you’ll soon be one of the success stories yourself.
9. When you see great ideas and achievements, be encouraged that you will also succeed.
All things are possible. And not only are they possible, but you can make them happen!
Affirmations:
I am a possibility thinker
I am on my way
All things are possible

Here’s what one of mentors taught me about this a long time ago that has worked for me in many situations:
When you have a problem that you don’t know how to solve or a situation that you think you can’t improve, instead of asking “why me” or “why can’t I ________”(fill in the blank with your problem), ask yourself, “How can I ___________.” And fill in the blank with the situation that you want to solve.
For example if you have bills to pay and you don’t have the money right now to pay them. Instead of asking yourself “why can’t I even pay my bills this month,” ask yourself “how can I get these bills taken care of.” this will stimulate your mind to find solutions to your problem even when it seems impossible.
Here’s another example of how you can use this thinking to help get meaningful employment if you’re out of a job. Instead of asking yourself “why can’t I find a job” ask “how can I find meaningful employment so that I can satisfy all of my obligations” instead.
To Your Success,
Joanne
