Peter Musa 2009 School Age National Champion

I got back yesterday from Gainville Georgia, where I went to coach my son Peter in his last school age championship. He did great and finished out his school age years in weightlifting with a personal record in the snatch, clean and jerk and total. He also set new school age records, won his weight class, and won the over all award for his age group. In addition to that he won the best male lifter award for the entire competition.

I appreciate all of the encouragement and best wishes that I got from all of you. Some of you have asked for pictures of him and I’ll be posting them to my Facebook. But I do have videos for you of those 2 record lifts. Those of you who know a little about olympic-style weightlifting will really enjoy these videos, and if you never saw any olympic style weightlifting before, this will be somewhat of an education. You’ll see me in the background of the videos along with my coach and mentor of 15 years, Peter Roselli.
